8. Click on the “Finish” button to complete the procedure:

NOTE

Only one infrared device at a time must be active. To disable other

infrared devices, use the Device Manager available in the Control

Panel\System\Hardware folder.

3.8.3 RF Remote Connection

For RF models, it is possible to make a remote connection as follows:

1. A partnership must be established between the terminal and the PC using one

of the methods previously described (PC IrDA to Terminal IrDA Connection or

Cradle Connection).

2. Disconnect the ActiveSync connection.

3. Perform the Save Registry procedure as described in par. 3.7.1.

4. Launch the "repllog /remote" command from the Run Menu (available from the

Start Button).

5. In the dialog box that will appear, it will be possible to choose a method to

connect to the PC. Choose Network Connection and press the Connect button.
